Experience the Charm of Purple Cottage

Sylvia hosted my sister and her family on one occasion and my parents on another. Everyone loved the purple cottage and were very comfortable. It was a quiet and welcome retreat from my louder than usual house (with three young kids). The space is well appointed and has wonderful high ceilings in the living room/lounge. The kitchenette was convenient for breakfast and hot drinks. As a host, Sylvia has an excellent balance between giving the guests space and privacy and being attentive to their needs. She dealt with a few requests/small problems quickly and courteously. Wonderful new build, a quiet little spot in a nice neighborhood. Close enough to downtown to walk and close to the bus stop if you don't feel like it.

Great comfortable space , warming and welcome. multiple bathrooms so you’re not on top of one another. The loft overlooking the living room area gives the place so much life and vibrancy. The loft is open so it also makes it feel way more spacious. The stove is also clutch when in need to cook. Then right outside you have a full functional grill and a camp fire. Again with a small gathering makes it very comfortable and warming. Bbq in the summer, roasting marshmallows and making s’mores in the winter.

I always feel at home there, with lots of amenities offered. There is an inviting living area with a mini but stocked kitchen. Once upstairs, the loft is the most comfortable space with a beautiful full bath as well. My friends and I always enjoy my time here.

We have stayed here 3 or 4 different times. Very cute and comfortable space!  There’s a nice outdoor fire pit and patio area.  It is in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, so it’s a very convenient location to stay after an event.
